Main responsibilities/tasks:

As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for strengthening and expanding our position within the retail market in the hobby and pet sector (including chains such as garden centers or DIY and similar key players). Your focus is on both developing existing customer relationships and actively driving new business opportunities.

Together with your colleagues, you will play a key role in building our presence across Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Benelux region. As a team, you work closely to growing the business, establish long-term partnerships, and continuously increase our market share.

This is a dynamic, field-based role in which you are frequently on the road, engaging directly with customers. You understand their needs and translate them into commercial success by providing expert advice on products, innovations, and market developments.

Your profile:

•    Independent organization of tasks within the scope of responsibility of the Sales Manager
•    Set priorities and coordinate activities within the Sales & Export department
•    Manage and drive sales of fish feed within the assigned PMCs, in line with agreed commercial margins and guidelines set by the Director COMS.

Key qualifications, experiences and characteristics:

    Develop and expand existing retail accounts within the hobby/pet sector
    Assessment and monitoring of creditworthiness
    Proactively generate new business and acquire new customers
    Regularly visit existing and prospective clients across your region
    Advise customers on products, innovations, and market trends
    Provide product support and commercial guidance
    Prepare and negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, margins, discounts, and delivery conditions
    Monitor customer performance and assess creditworthiness within your portfolio
    Participate in trade fairs and stay up to date with market developments
    Achieve annual sales and volume targets.

Qualifications:
    Positive, proactive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
    Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
    Fluent in German, Dutch, and English (both written and spoken).
